Client: Ho`ōla Nā Pua
Goal: Film a PSA to raise capital funds for Pearl Haven
Needs: Highly-controlled environment for video production

Ho`ōla Nā Pua is a Hawaiʻi-based nonprofit dedicated to preventing human trafficking and rehabilitating trafficking victims. The organization has seen tremendous growth and awareness over the years, most notably in its plans for Pearl Haven, its North Shore home for underage trafficking victims. Ho`ōla Nā Pua came into ID8 Studios to film a PSA for Pearl Havens capital campaign. Sight + Sounds Productions’ Bryan Spicer and Farai Richmond directed.

ID8 Studios and Ho'ola Na Pua

ID8 Studios soundstage and lighting were the perfect setting for Ho`ōla Nā Pua’s co-founder Jessia Munoz to record the PSA. Bryan Spicer and Farai Richmond utilized ID8 Studios facilities, allowing Jessia Munoz to present Ho`ōla Nā Pua’s vision of Pearl Haven. Complete control over lighting and acoustics made the perfect setting for Jessica to deliver sobering data, without sacrificing the empathy and sensitivity needed to communicate the importance of a safe haven for underage trafficking victims.

ID8 Studios is highly flexible and able to accommodate a wide scope of projects. While ID8 Studios always has a studio manager ready to assist, third-party production companies also have control over the facility, allowing for unlimited creativity. The possibilities are endless!
